The Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen

This is one of the best books that I had read. I could almost smell the food in a country kitchen in war time France when I was reading it. I could imagine what the fragrance must be like to gather with  an entire village of  Montvernier to bake lots of bread in a communal wood-fired oven that was the size of a house.  I will give this book away when I'm done enjoying it.
