I haven't tried any of the recipes in this cookbook, but I enjoy the vibrant and colorful illustration on every page.  It's so tempting for me to tear a page off, frame it and hang it on my wall.  But I'm not the kind of book owner who can bear to tear any page off my book.  I inherited this cookbook from my mom-in-law. By reading this cookbook,  I can see what recipes she had tried, and I can see that she really liked this cookbook.

This is the first book that I checked out from the library in 2021! Happy reading for the New Year, everybody!! Call me shallow but  I like this book more than the other book that I have been trying to finish reading since last year.  Supper Menu inspired by pg. 23 of this book (The meal that Laura made for Gabe on their first meeting): BLT Sandwich Clam Chowder Milk Coffee Laura seemed to also enjoy hot chocolate .  So I often made one when I have time to sit down to continue my reading of this book.
