I love this magazine so much!  I was just watching Season 13 of the TV Series "Hoarders" for the first time.  I can so relate because I'm sort of a hoarder myself, even though not as obsessive. This is one of the magazines that I hoarded that I didn't even know that I had it until now that I'm trying to take inventory of what I have. I feel like I'm unable to let this magazine go.  However, there are some magazines and books that I have no problem in letting go. Their condition  is "Like New".  I'm now giviing them away to whoever who want them, for free. I will pay for the shipping. "The relationships between mothers and their daughters are often fraught and fascinatingly complicated." pg. 3.  I absultely agree with Brook Shields here. "As a child, I literally couldn't imagine life without her. I used to think that if Mom died, I'd die. too." pg.4   I'm glad that she now has a husband and two beautiful daugthers. It's amazing how everytime when I dug deep into my cluttered bookshelves, I found a book that made me wonder, "Did I buy this when I was posessed? Why can't I remember why and when I bought it?" This is another one of those books. I probably bought this because the cover looks romantic, and the description on the backcover mentions the most exciting cities in the world, where I would like to escape to through my reading. I just trashed this book even though it's in new condition because I've been listing it here for sale at $3.00 for years now, and haven't received any interest.

I found this book in my local library. Surprisingly, this book isn't available on Amazon. I wanted to buy this book because I love the adorable and whimsical illustrations throughout the pages of  the book,  like the one on the book cover. But Amazon doesn't have it. The recipes in this book have very beautiful plating and photographs. But finding all the ingredients in the typical grocery store to cook them can be a challenge. For example, where can I get oat cream to make the Italian Chicken Pot featured in this book?

 

The illustrations in this book are so cute! The story shows how being a big sister can be fun and it preaches and promotes family love.  This book is a fantastic gift and a great read for the little ones who are going to be the big sisters. I highly recommend this book to parents who are expecting their second child.

This cookbook is one of my favorite books from our local libary.  The recipes featured in this cookbook have a lot of beautiful and inpiring photos.  The instructions are very well oraganized with photos so they are very easy to understand and follow.  There are pointers to tell me what should be done by the adults and what can be done by the kids  during the cooking process.  It's a great cookbook to get the kids involved in making dinners. Instead of letting the TV and i-Pad babysit the kids and stressing out, this cookbook helps to turn the stressful dinner cooking time into quality and enjoying family time with the kids.  Besides teaching the kids the basic cooking skills, this book can also help to improve the kids' math and reading skills.

Ｉ just read this cute little book with the girls at our town's library. We love the story and the colorful Halloween illustration so much. By reading how Barbie and her little sister prepared for their Halloween party, we learn how to put out a festive Halloween party in no time. Barbie made it look so easy, but it's actually that easy to produce the same Halloween party in our real world, if only we just do it like Barbie.

I haven't tried any of the recipes in this cookbook, but I enjoy the vibrant and colorful illustration on every page.  It's so tempting for me to tear a page off, frame it and hang it on my wall.  But I'm not the kind of book owner who can bear to tear any page off my book.  I inherited this cookbook from my mom-in-law. By reading this cookbook,  I can see what recipes she had tried, and I can see that she really liked this cookbook. I'm now selling this cookbook to make space on my bookshelf.
